Project Guru X GramUrja

The counseling and mentoring sessions provided by Healing Dove Foundation promote foundational knowledge and skills needed in the career path the individual seeks to make crucial life decisions. The Aptitude tests conducted for the students include: Numerical Reasoning, Special Reasoning, Abstract Reasoning, Mechanical Reasoning, Mathematical Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning. The counselors use easy-to-understand English and Hindi for the students to feel confident and sure about themselves. Education is not the only sought after topic during the sessions. Importance of extra curricular activities and hobbies is also emphasised. The usefulness of having a Plan B ready for every situation is the most liked suggestion of the students.

Project Dash

Working together can achieve more than working alone. Through advancing educational opportunities, nurturing comprehensive development, and creating empowered youth. Project DASH improve the lives and shape the future of vulnerable children. an online demonstration of 10 Life Skills as suggested by WHO are a part of Project DASH During the sessions, participants learn about basic concepts through examples and fun activities explained in both English and Hindi. The training modules are designed based on the beneficiaries' skills, strengths, weaknesses, and interests.

As we strive towards creating a more inclusive society, we need to amplify queer voices and promote honest and informative discourse on the struggles faced by the LGBTQIA+ community, as well as structural changes to tackle this. May 16 (the eve of the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia!) we talk to three amazing people about their experiences, and how to be an active, empathetic ally.

Why wait for Disorder

Research has shown that over a fifth (22.5%) of engineers have thought of suicide or self-harm. The stereotypical image of an engineer or the pressure to deliver, comes with a baggage of anxiety, feelings of being overwhelmed and self-doubt. The lack of mental health dialogue is evident. The stigma surrounding seeking help for mental health concerns is evident.

Mentoring Session-Project Guru

The first step of Project Guru focuses on counseling, while step 2 emphasizes mentoring. During the Mentoring session, mentees will discuss their goals, how they want to achieve them, what steps should be taken to ensure them, and develop a Plan of action. Using the answers to the session questions, the mentor will create a list of resources and network contacts such as, Colleges they can apply for Exams they need to give Available Courses The earning and course duration and all the details to help the mentee. More sessions will be conducted, as it is implemented.
